The British Virgin Islands is loaded with beautiful beaches and coves, quaint beach bars and restaurants, plenty of sunshine and the best of relaxation! Tip: be sure to consider Anegada. My quiet paradise. The BVI boasts many option regarding type of vessel: Monohull Sail Boats, Catamarans both sail and powered. From there it is a question of crewed or uncrewed? And, do you prefer a very nice boat or is a crewed luxury yacht more your style?
If you are a first-time cruiser, our team can coach you in selecting a captain and first mate. This option is like an “all-inclusive” vacation while you are on board. Many times a captain and a chef are a team, as they usually share one of the sleeping quarters on your vessel. If your goal is relaxation and no worries in moving the vessel throughout your itinerary this is for you. Our experiences have included time with truly incredible chefs that will prepare a wonderful brunch for your group as you float from last night’s location to today’s new destination. The Captain and chef/skipper are entirely in charge of the yacht, including provisioning of food and beverages. You provide them with your preferences in advance and they do the rest. They are also there with you to deal with changes in weather and wind.
Bareboat is another glorius way to travel. You get to charter your own “DestinyAzure” as we like to call it. If you and your group have experience on the water and are cleared by the biography you provide and your checkout the first day for your charter, then you become the “charterer” and are responsible for the vessel, your itinerary and provisioning. On a bareboat, your group provide the captain, the skippers/mates, the itinerary creation and all food, beverages and supplies. It is you and your family or friends with privacy and the ability to make your own decisions. You will generally pick up a mooring ball each night. In the BVIs, Bareboat here is made as easy as possible.
